The agreement, which began in 2017, combines the expertise of coaches, world class facilities and exclusive equipment
Chicago, November 1st. The collaboration between Wilson and Good to Great, one of the best tennis academies in the world, was recently renewed in order to continue supporting the development of the next generation of tennis players. The agreement between the world leader in high-performance sports equipment, apparel and accessories, and the academy, located in Sweden, began in 2017.
The combination of exclusive training, facilities and equipment is what will help continue to build the future of tennis. The agreement comes from a collection of shared values and the commitment to develop the person and the player as one. Both projects are united by a passion to make tennis and padel grow through the players who aspire to reach the top of both sports.
With the renewal of this agreement, Wilson will provide selected high-level players from the Good to Great Tennis Academy with rackets. Moreover, it will also provide tennis and padel balls, prizes for the tournaments and different training items to the centre to use with all players. One of the main developments for 2021 is the company’s focus on valuing the work of coaches, with Wilson clothing and footwear now being given to all Good to Great Tennis Academy instructors.
For Wilson, this agreement confirms the company’s commitment to new talent in this sport. “We are very excited to continue our relationship with Good to Great who are one of the very best tennis academies in the world. Both Wilson and Good to Great share the same vision of supporting players who aspire to be their absolute best, and we are very happy to continue being a part of that journey”, says Rick Hazelden, Rackets Country Manager (Northern Europe).
