A vision that has been growing within us for a few years is the idea of establishing Good to Great outside of Sweden.
Over the past 10 years, we have received many proposals, but we didn’t feel ready to take that step. However, during the last 3-4 years, this idea has been taking shape, and we finally feel ready! We have been up and running with the center in Danderyd for the last 6 years now, and we feel that the processes at home are now well-established.
When we were approached by Rob Autry, Jason DeGroff, and their team at Swing Racket & Padel in Raleigh, North Carolina, we immediately felt that this was a great match.
Swing Racket & Padel will be one of the largest racket centers in the U.S., boasting no fewer than 28 tennis courts, 15 padel courts, 25 pickleball courts, 4 beach volleyball courts, as well as a fitness center and racket testing hub. This will truly be a paradise for racket sports enthusiasts!
Good to Great will be managing the tennis operations in close cooperation with Swing. We will recruit the right staff and implement our approach to player development. We also look forward to creating both tennis and padel events together with Swing, both in Europe and the U.S.
The new center is set to open 2026 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Best regards,
Magnus, Mikael, and Nicklas
